Kuraray Trosifol^® SentryGlas^®

Over the years Kuraray have come to be the leading supplier of interlayers used in architectural laminated glass but little was known about its contribution to sustainability. The figures represented in the industry were estimated values based on presumptions, now, having analysed their production process this detail is now become more accurate.

Carbon footprint of interlayers used to produce laminated safety glass - The assessment measured the cradle to gate impact looking at the resource of material, processing and manufacture of the products in each location. Environmental Product Declarations for our products will be available later this year. And will help establish the true impact on the environment through this cycle by product.

Collaboration - We also understand the importance of collaboration, this has been witnessed across the industry and its refreshing to see so many parties striving toward the same objective . We look at a couple highlights, collaborations that have different conclusions but ultimately the same benefit to sustainability.
