As climate responsive design and build becomes the most important factor in the specification process, Junckers provides factual information presented in an easy-to-read, concise format.

The new brochure, A Sustainable Mindset, shows architects, contractors and specifiers how a Junckers floor counts towards BREEAM assessments, helping to achieve net zero carbon status for a building.

As one of the first solid wood flooring companies, Junckers has completed EPDs, Environmental Product Declarations, for its solid hardwood floors, verifying that every part of the supply chain, from raw material sourcing to production and distribution, adheres to strict sustainability standards.

Recognising the importance of providing clients and customers with independently assessed accreditations, Junckers also holds PEFC™ and FSC® certification proving its timber comes from legal and sustainable sources; ISO 14001, independent accreditation for its environmental management systems and the Danish Indoor Climate Label to ensure there are no chemical substances in the flooring which adversely affect the air quality in a room. Junckers products also comply with REACH legislation.
