SYLVACTIS panels 40 FX, 55 FX, 110 SD, 140 SD & HD received this summer the KEYMARK Certification.

The KEYMARK is recognized as a European quality mark for all the technical characteristics of an insulation product, and in particular for its registered thermal resistance.

The Keymark is a European certification mark operated by certification bodies that have been authorised by the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN). It is a guarantee for consumers that a product consistently meets, over the long term, all relevant European Standards (ENs) - for wood-fibre insulating panels the standard is EN 13171.

This certification is awarded by an approved and independent organisation, empowered by CEN, following a rigorous process, the principal steps of which are :

• an initial audit of the producer’s manufacturing process

• compliance testing carried out on products sampled during manufacture

• the implementation of a continuous internal control system for the production process.

This is a voluntary procedure, enabling the manufacturer to perform a quality check of the product’s manufacturing processes.
