Architects Denton Corker Marshall had a challenge to reduce noise within the new “Dinner” restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental on Knightsbridge.

The Terraco ambient system was chosen for the main restaurant, private dining and kitchen areas. The ceiling design was complex and the installation of fibre board and necessary masking to a diverse range of differing ceiling areas also provided a challenge to our installation team.

The result was a finish indiscernible from the general decoration and colour scheme, but which provided the necessary noise control for a busy minimalist eatery.
