The A-PED: A1 Fire-Rated Adjustable Pedestals For Non-Combustible Terraces And Raised Floors

The first non-combustible metal pedestal from Buzon, made from recycled aluminium and zinc-coated steel, the A-PED is Class A1 fire-rated and adjustable from 42mm to 282mm.

As the most advanced Class A1 fire-rated pedestal available on the market, it has an integrated slope corrector which allows up to 5% of millimetre-precise correction, features that make it compatible with both paving, decking and grating, and a large load spreader plate base that won’t compromise insulation or waterproof membrane.

A-PED Spacer Tabs

Attached to the pedestal head, Spacer Tabs separate pavers maintaining perfect alignment and facilitating drainage. The A-PED comes with 3mm wide, 12mm high spacer tabs built into the head but these can be extended to 5mm using caps that fit over the existing spacer tabs. The existing spacer tabs can be removed as required.
