Zeeland fibre cement slates from Cembrit have been installed on an interesting development in Kent, which sees the natural appearance of the slate complement the external weatherboard and brick finish. Built by Hillreed Homes, the two, three, four and five bedroom properties form part of ‘The Poppies’, a housing community in Kings Hill, West Malling.

The Poppies’ is a residential development located within close proximity to the Kings Hill village green, cricket ground and local golf course. The project boasts excellent transport links into London, whilst remaining a tranquil living space. ‘The Poppies’ development also consists of retail outlets, a school and leisure facilities. Kent-based contractors, Russell and Russell Roofing specified blue/black Zeeland slates to provide an attractive finish to the residential properties.
