The Solid Wood Flooring Company were asked by the contractor to supply their select clean grade 220mm full white lacquered board for the Kings College accommodation.

High-quality flooring was provided in the student accommodation block, alongside the feature staircase which was made using their select grade engineered wood flooring.

Both projects and many others like the design library in Kensington London and the Army Museum use their wood floors. They also supplied the flooring for Girton College in Cambridge.

The stairs show excellent fitting and matching bannisters along with the kitchen, showing the clean grain and lines of the board using nine coats of Bona commercial fire-resistant lacquer. The smooth surface is hard-wearing and durable even for student accommodation.
