THOR Torrefied Cladding has recently been specified for a new extension on Rotherham Hospital, The Woodlands.
The Woodlands, Rotherham Older Peoples Mental Health Inpatient Unit is a £16m new extension to facilities at Rotherham General Hospital. The new building provides essential new accommodation, including three new wards with 42 new beds, all single bedroom ensuites, for older patients. The unit will also house shared clinical therapy services and associated administration facilities. This new facility was opened in April.

The Woodland project, designed by Devereux Architects, is part of Royal Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trusts modernisation programme for adult and older peoples mental health services in Rotherham. The programme aims to deliver high quality accommodation for service users to promote their mental wellbeing and assist their recovery.
