Laminate and vinyl floor finishes perform extremely well with underfloor heating and are becoming increasingly popular. Manufacturers are now acknowledging the suitability of vinyl and laminate flooring with electric underfloor heating systems and the majority of laminate flooring available is compatible with electric underfloor heating.
Manufacturers usually recommend that laminate flooring shouldn't be exposed to temperatures above 27 degrees celcius, however it is always advisable to check the manufacturer's recommended maximum floor surface temperature to ensure the product is suitable for use with your electric underfloor heating system.
Thermogroup electric underfloor heating recommendation
Thermogroup have underfloor heating systems available that are specifically designed for use under laminate flooring.
