David Henderson, owner and managing director of Tobermore, has won the Innovation category at IOD’s Director of the Year Awards.

David Henderson commented on the award:

“I am hugely honored to receive an IoD Director of the Year Award for Innovation. At Tobermore, we take pride in the outstanding performance of our paving and walling products. We continually invest in innovative technologies and people, which has resulted in high performance products and market-leading solutions. Tobermore has a true ‘growth mindset’ when it comes to business. Even when business is booming, we’re always looking for innovative ways to continuously improve. I have a wonderful team around me who make me look good.”

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Gordon Milligan, IoD NI Chairman, said:

2021 has been a successful year of award wins for Tobermore and David Henderson including being named ''Manufacturer of the Year’, 'EY Industry Entrepreneur of the Year’, ‘True Leader’ at the Make a Difference Awards, as well as being awarded the Payroll Giving Platinum Mark.
