Travelodge, Ealing, West London

Client: Travelodge
Type of works: supply of approximately 1,100m² of both 10mm and 7mm Petrarch

Travelodge, one of the fastest growing hotel chains in the country has now opened a six storey hotel in Ealing, West London. Completed for opening in March 2011 the design specification called on CEP Claddings Petrarch panels to match a specific stone panel in both colour and texture.

Produced in East Sussex the Petrarch panels were colour matched at CEP’s in house laboratory which has produced over 1,500 colours, all designed to incorporate the natural environment of a building. Approximately 1,100m² of both 10mm and 7mm Petrarch was supplied along with their recently launched helping hand aluminium support framing system TEN66.

Joint detailing was also a significant factor for the project and the elevations incorporated pre-fabricated corners, window reveals and a special Martlets joint detail, all fabricated at our dedicated UK plant, facilitating speedy and accurate onsite installation.
