The Tile Associations 2010 Best Website award has this year been presented to British Ceramic Tile for its website www.britishceramictile.com.
The website, which was launched at the beginning of October 2009, was designed by Adaptive Consultancy (www.adaptiveconsultancy.com) in conjunction with British Ceramic Tile, and is aimed mainly at the trade and retail sectors. The design involved a complete revamp of the existing site to incorporate new branding and provide site visitors with a more intimate view of the business through both the written word and still and video imagery.
Yell.com sponsored the award and said The importance of a website that is well designed, easy to navigate and quick to load is paramount. This award recognises the best website in the tile sector.
Konrad Goess-Saurau, CEO of British Ceramic Tile explains We wanted our on-line visitors to feel that 10 minutes on the website was like a complete factory visit. As with the business, the British Ceramic Tile website will continue to evolve.
The awards ceremony took place in Birmingham on the 17th April and was attended by hundreds of the industries finest.
