In rural Bedfordshire, experienced local developer, Simon Bird, has recently completed the transformation of this once empty field, into two beautiful new family homes.
The new homes are a mirror of one another, as Simon has always placed a key emphasis on attention to detail throughout his 25-year career. “By my own admission, I am a bit fussy, and have always been sure to use quality products throughout the estimated 40 properties I have worked on in my time”.
Simon is a first-time customer with Dale Joinery as he explains “I had seen Dale products installed on a project I was previously involved with. I was impressed with what I saw so I was keen to specify them for these two new homes”.
Both homes are generously sized, with large, identical gardens to boast, an ideal opportunity for aspiring families with pets.
A bidding war when the houses went to market could therefore have been considered inevitable, as Simon explains “demand for both houses was incredibly high. After multiple bids from different parties, the two ended up selling for circa £1 million each. We were absolutely delighted with that”. The selling price really is a testament to Simon’s work, meticulous attention to detail and focus on quality throughout every part of the project.
Flush Casement Windows
Timeless timber flush casement windows in a ‘Cream’ finish have been installed across both homes. This popular design features a single, horizontal 18mm astragal glazing bar, manufactured in Engineered European Redwood.
Entrance Doors
Simon Bird has constructed a charming canopy at the front of both properties, where our Tintagel entrance doors with sidelights complete a truly beautiful entrance to the new homes, in the same colour finish at the new windows.
Bi-Fold Doors
In the kitchen of both homes, their timber bi-fold doors were specified, creating easy, open access into the large gardens, ideal for the summer months and for entertaining.
