Canvey Island Southern Shoreline Revetment Project
They provided over 1,000 precast concrete steps using both Basalt reinforcement and 100% OPC replacement (Cemfree), making it one of the highest carbon-saving concrete products available.
Expansion of Portland Port deep water berth
A 46% cement replacement mix was used utilising GGBS which delivered carbon savings of approximately 63,000 kgs of CO2.
Canewdon blocks revetment replacement at Hullbridge, Essex
They supplied various types of Canewdon blocks some of which included ultra-low carbon concrete, basalt reinforcement and carbon-negative aggregates
Ultra-low carbon pool for polar bears at Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park
Cemfree was used to produce the bathing pool for the polar bears which provided up to an 80% lower carbon footprint than if standard Ordinary Portland Cement had been used.
