Easyflow was specified to deliver 400 sqm of underfloor heating and screed for 4 barn conversions in Shifnal.

Easyflow’s first job on site was to supply and install 110mm cement based self-compacting liquid screed to two of the units which didn’t yet have a sub-base.

Following placement of the sub-base the builders on site installed PIR insulation before Easyflow installers returned to site to prepare the floor with a 1200 gauge polythene membrane and perimeter expansion foam.

The floors are then laser leveled to the customer’s datum point to determine how much screed is needed.

The pre-assembled manifold is set up in the previously agreed location, usually in a utility room or under the stairs. The pipework is secured to the insulation working to a site specific CAD design.

Easyflow installers then fill the system with water and pressure test to check for leaks before installing a 50mm liquid floor screed
