Accessibility was a priority when specifying the washrooms at the UCFB campus in Wembley.

The project
First Wembley Way UCFB College and Campus houses teaching facilities and student accommodations, with the iconic Wembley stadium sitting at the heart of the University campus.

The campus was the first fully modular scheme for accommodation provider Unite, which made for simple and efficient construction on this tight, urban site.

The challenge
UCFB is a state of the art teaching facility and student accommodation, and a leading destination for higher education for the football sector. With their vision to create a teaching space that inspires, it was essential the finish of the washrooms reflected the design and quality infused across the rest of the building.

Venesta accredited installer, T-IPS Washrooms, undertook the installation of the washrooms within the university building, which consists of separate male and female toilet facilities across all floors of the building.

The solution.

Unity Full Height toilet cubicles were the product of choice for all the male and female washrooms throughout the University Campus of Football Business buildings. The toilet cubicles feature a reduced floor clearance creating a sleek full height solution with ultimate privacy for users.

The toilet cubicles have setback pedestals creating a flush-fronted appearance and are finished with stylish satin anodised aluminium fittings for a sleek and modern solution.

Aesthetics and safety were of equal consideration when specifying the toilet cubicles for the University. Each toilet cubicle has been fitted with outward opening doors, ensuring safe and easy access to the toilet cubicles, even within areas with limited available space. Additionally all the washrooms feature an oversized, ambulant cubicle ensuring toilet facilities are accessible to all on all levels of the campus.

To complement the toilet cubicles, our Frameduct panelling was specified throughout, concealing all the plumbing and pipework for the WCs and urinals, to create a clean, uniform finish. Frameduct panelling is installed with an easy ‘click-fix’ mechanism and gives installers the freedom to select their desired sanitaryware, making the process simple and speedy.

Panels sit flush with each other for minimal dirt traps making for quick and simple cleaning and easy ongoing maintenance. Like our cubicles, Frameduct panelling is available in a wide range of colours and finishes. The panelling was specified in matching Gunmetal HPL for UCFB.
