V & A Museum lecture theatre refurbished with Topakustik Walnut Acoustic Wall Panelling

The V & A’s magnificent Victorian lecture theatre was originally completed in 1869.

A sensitive restoration project was design by architects Pippa Nissen Studio and Walnut veneered Topakustik sound absorbing acoustic panels in a bespoke linear slotted face pattern were selected to line the lower level side walls and curve around behind the stage.

The Topakustik panels contributed to a high quality and acoustically controlled environment.
