V-Farm aim to develop urban area in Bristol

V-Farm are partnering with Bearpit CIC and Glow Bristol to create ‘The Circle’, which is an innovative food hub showcasing sustainable solutions.

A hydroponic vertical growing unit has been installed in Bristol within an area currently blighted by graffiti and anti-social behaviour, aiming to add improvement.

Each V-Farm features vertical racks on tracks and is fully scalable, making them equally suitable for small scale production or for commercial growers requiring a large scale solution.

Speaking to Bristol 24/7 news service about The Circle project, Bearpit CIC managing director Miriam Delogu said “Our vision to transform the space into a truly sustainable, inclusive, resilient and, most importantly, safe destination will change the city centre of Bristol for the better, for all.”
