Variopool has secured a project for a swimming pool intended for therapy use in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Variopool will install a movable floor with a size of 14 meters by 5 meters and two disabled platforms. These will ensure that the disabled in the swimming pool can safely and independently enter the pool. In many situations, disabled people are dependent on the help of people, but these platforms will help them to get in and out of the water by themselves.

Variopool will also install an underwater treadmill to the pool. An underwater treadmill provides efficient training. The treadmill can be set to several different paces, and the patient doesn’t have to reverse at the end of the wall. Underwater exercise allows the patients to focus on walking and the exercises themselves as they are practically weightless.
