Established in October 1987, VDC Trading is celebrating 30 years in business.

Their first order was for 36 microphone stands for DNA, the Eurhythmics’ Church studio in Crouch End North London.

Since those days VDC has gone on to work with some of the biggest names across the touring, recording, performing, installation and broadcast markets in the world.

Niall J. Holden, founder and CEO, explains: “We’ve come a long way since our first ‘office’ which was a tiny spare bedroom in a tower block in Hackney. VDC grew quickly focusing with a passion on the quality, design and flexibility of the products. By just saying yes to impossible enquiries (as cable is quite often overlooked to the last minute) we established our ‘can do’ attitude early on.”
