Stranger things have happened but a boat might just be the most unusual place Ventrolla has ever delivered its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme. LAlliance, a boat on the River Thames, in Chelsea, where architectural practice Lab Architects Ltd have some studio space, was the location of Ventrollas latest training session.
It was all aboard for Senior Surveyor, Melvyn Jordan and Business Development Manager, Dawn Walton from Ventrollas London Commercial office who delivered the CPD to Lab Architects. The Timber Window Solutions presentation, which focuses on restoration and repair and then discusses the Ventrolla Perimeter Sealing System as well as other areas of expertise, was given to Lab Architects seven-strong team and beloved company black Labrador, Poppy.
Annie Campbell Langston, Architectural Assistant from Lab Architects said: The CPD training session was very insightful and stands us in good stead for future design projects. We work on a lot of properties in conservation areas so retaining the aesthetics of period windows is key. Enhancing our own knowledge through training allows us to educate our customers on subjects such as restoration, in this case, which gives them a wider variety of options and better understanding of our architectural choices.
