When Jellyfish, the world’s biggest boutique digital marketing agency, took possession of their office on Floor 22 of The Shard, the brief to the designers was to develop a space that reflects their dynamic and innovative brand.

Vtec Group’s MaxiBeam System was chosen to enhance some of the ceiling areas – the Lightweight Beams have fantastic design flexibility and don’t need additional structural ceiling support work. The designers worked with Vtec and created fantastic design features, working with the shape and angles of The Shard – including individually shaped Beams above the reception, and intersecting Beams above the Bar.

Vtec Group also worked with the clients installation team and provided full technical support and drawings – this ensured that the complex design and layout of beams went smoothly. The intersecting beams above the bar had to be installed in a particular order to ensure the correct result, so Vtec produced individually sized Maxi Beams to enable this.
