Walk-in fruit cage created using architectural wire mesh

Walk-in fruit cage created using architectural wire mesh

Material: Nelson 7/1-6 Pre-crimped Wire Mesh
Project Name: Walk-in Fruit Cage

Nelson 7/1-6 pre-crimped architectural wire mesh from Locker Group has been installed as a protective walk-in fruit cage. The mesh was specified by Purple Architect Studio specifically to protect growing fruit trees and their crop from destruction by common garden pests such as:

• Squirrels
• Birds
• Butterflies
• Plum Fruit Moths
• Apple Fruit Moths
• Barred Fruit Tree Moths
• Cherry Fruit Moths

Other insects necessary for polination such as bees, are small enough to travel comfortably through the mesh aperture.

Free-flow of air, rain and sunlight are unaffected by the mesh which is durable enough to last for many years, and therefore provides a practical, aesthetically pleasing and permanent garden structure.
