Walnut is a very popular wood finish, that creates a warm, modern and very dramatic finish to any room. This London home is a perfect example of The Solid Wood Flooring Company’s walnut engineered flooring being used as stair treads, finished with their walnut stair nosing.

The Solid Wood Flooring Company have several different walnut engineered flooring options in varying dimensions and finishes including lacquered, satin hard wax oil and matt UV oil.

Hard wax oiled solid American black walnut stair nosing STN106 was fitted with a 15mm thick board or alternatively STN105 could be fitted with a 20mm thick board.

The Solid Wood Flooring Company also supply a light oak lacquered stair nose STN222 which will match the E222 mixed grade lacquered engineered board. The stair nosing is grooved along the length of the trim for ease of fitting and can be sanded or reworked by craftsperson on site to fit alternative profiles.
