The Challenges
Comprising eight changing rooms with shower facilitates and a club room with a kitchen, the new pavilion needed to withstand large volumes of water at one given time, especially following matches and training sessions.

Blossom Homes was eager to apply its method to a commercial space. This new challenge allowed the developer to showcase the extent to which modular construction can be utilised and the wider sustainability benefits that it has in commercial builds.

The Solution
Products from leading plumbing and drainage manufacturer Wavin, were specified throughout the building to help provide an efficient system that was robust and resilient enough to manage the high demand. The Blossom team knew Wavin products could meet both quality and sustainability credentials required for the build.

To facilitate a faster installation, the team selected Wavin Tigris K1 press-fit system that was well suited to the building’s primary circulation system. This high-performance, composite pipe system can be swiftly installed, saving both money and time.

Wavin supported Blossom Homes by providing installation training, technical information, and consultation where required. This high level of services allowed contractors to confidently work with Wavin products and reduce delays. Elsewhere, Wavin Osma Compact Soil and Waste systems were installed to provide a comprehensive solution to manage wastewater. These pipes are produced with Recycore Technology, which uses the highest amount of recycled PVC without compromising on quality.
