AV Danzer has installed 10 welfare units for Graham Construction at the remarkable Piece Hall in Halifax. Graham has been appointed by Calderdale Council to undertake the construction work to transform this historic building, creating a new, state-of-the-art Central Library and Archive in the town centre which will open in spring 2016.

Danzer were commissioned to provide the on-site accommodation for the team and contractors. The units have been installed in a linear layout which suits the incredible Italianate Square within which they sit.

The units will provide contractor welfare facilities including office space, meeting rooms, drying rooms and toilets. The units, which are sprayed in Graham’s corporate colours, have been stacked 2 high and are connected by an external landing and stairs. As the Council offices directly overlook the site we also sprayed the roofs to reduce the visual impact of the units.
