Why Wait? TV ad campaign from Vaillant outlines investment in a sustainable tomorrow

With central heating making up 31% of all household emissions, Vaillant has launched its latest multimillion-pound marketing campaign, including a brand-new TV advert, to raise awareness among specifiers and tenants alike of its comprehensive range of efficient heating systems, including heat pumps.

With its long term strategy focused on sustainability, Vaillant’s ‘Why Wait’ campaign, which starts on 5th October, is an important milestone for the industry as it becomes the first of the UK’s boiler manufacturers to include renewables in TV advertising.

Following the opening of the Green Homes Grant scheme, which allows homeowners to apply for vouchers to cover some of the costs towards installing energy efficient improvements, the Why Wait campaign raises awareness of how an efficient home heating system, such as heat pumps or energy efficient boilers, can have a big impact on the climate.

Underpinned by UK wide radio advertising plus extensive digital and social media advertising, this latest campaign follows Vaillant being named the UK’s top scoring gas boiler brand in the Which? Best Buy 2020 survey.

This latest accolade, together with the TV ad campaign, means those involved in specifying Vaillant products can rest assured they are installing the most climate friendly and reliable heating solution possible.

And for landlords also taking advantage of the Green Homes Grant scheme, the Why Wait campaign will play an important role in helping them to secure tenant buy-in ahead of a heating system upgrade.

Featuring in the Why Wait TV ad is the newly launched Vaillant aroTHERM plus heat pump. With a Global Warming Potential of just 3, the aroTHERM plus is one of the most efficient and climate friendly heat pump on the market.

Using the natural refrigerant R290, it’s able to run at a higher flow temperature of up to 75°C, providing 25% more useable hot water, while with sound power as low as 54dBa, it is also one of the quietest heat pumps on the market. This is supported by being awarded the Quiet Mark accreditation.
