Stormking worked with William Birch and Martin Davis architects to replicate and replace a timber cupola on Harrogate library’s roof, using a maintenance free approach. Every effort was made to replicate the unit, due to concerns around the historic nature of the structure.
The updated design, made from long lasting GRP, also included a new glazed area. The result produced a stunning result, appeasing local authority planning concerns, whilst maintaining the historic character of the building.
