Wyld Sauna introduces a groundbreaking addition to outdoor wellness with the UK’s first public floating sauna, now located at Liverpool’s Princes Dock. The interior of this innovative wellness structure was brought to life with the help of Finnmark’s expertise in sauna design, fabrication, and consultation. The result is a premium sauna experience that blends tradition with modern functionality.

At the heart of Wyld Sauna is a 30-person Finnish sauna, complemented by ice baths, heated outdoor showers, and direct water access, offering an invigorating escape by the waterfront. The interior, crafted from thermo alder, combines durability with aesthetic appeal, featuring a distinctive toasted aroma and outstanding dimensional stability to withstand the demands of a public environment.

A 35kW IKI Pro commercial-grade electric heater, meticulously designed and made in Finland, ensures the authentic Finnish sauna experience. The custom 4-tiered bench system optimises comfort and functionality, while its strategic orientation offers views of Liverpool’s waterfront through the expansive front window.

To elevate the ambiance, SAAS LED light strips are thoughtfully integrated behind backrests and bench edges, creating a warm and inviting glow. This subtle lighting design complements the overall aesthetic, enhancing the relaxation experience for visitors.
