Acoustic underfloor heating for luxury apartments

Acoustic underfloor heating for luxury apartments

Nu-Heat has designed and supplied a bespoke, combined acoustic and underfloor heating (UFH) system for Norman House. The project consisted of a high-end conversion of a Paddington period office building, creating 14 luxury apartments and 3 premier penthouses.

Nu-Heat specified and supplied AcoustiPanelTM for the property’s upper floors. This low-profile, high-performance UFH system offers independently-tested outstanding acoustic improvements of up to +9dB, significantly reducing airborne and impact noise whilst creating an ultra-smooth surface ideal for luxury floor finishes.

Nu-Heat’s SC14TM screed underfloor heating was specified for the basement level of Norman House. The system consists of 14mm FastFloTM UFH tube held in place by Cliptrack, topped with a layer of hand-laid screed.
