The Adidas Arena, is a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose, and modular hall situated in the La Chapelle neighbourhood of Paris. This newly inaugurated facility promises to be a central hub for both sporting events and community activities. The arena boasts a capacity of 8,000 seats for sporting events and 9,000 seats for concerts and shows. In addition to the main hall, it features two gymnasiums intended for use by local clubs and residents, a 350-space multistorey car park, a 2,600 sqm multipurpose retail and leisure complex, and a 1,200 sqm patio.
Beyond its primary function of hosting sporting events, the venue was designed as a community facility, complete with shops, leisure activities, and food and drink outlets, making it a vibrant space for visitors and residents.
In light of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Adidas Arena stands out with its impressive glass railings. The laminated glass consists of two 12mm thick tempered glass panes, laminated with SentryGlas®. In total, over 480 linear meters of glass railings were installed, capable of withstanding the load of the most enthusiastic supporters.
SentryGlas®, used in the laminated glass railings, played a crucial role in enhancing the safety and durability of the installation. Its use ensured that the railings not only met but exceeded safety standards, making the Adidas Arena a secure and welcoming venue for all its visitors.
