Aggregate Industries hits a high note at Birmingham Conservatoire

Aggregate Industries have supplied 4,000m3 of RC40 standard concrete for the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, a £57 million teaching and performance facility.

They were awarded the contract to supply ready-mixed concrete to the project by Thames Formwork under main contractor Galliford Try.

The concrete was used to construct the groundworks and concrete frameworks on the build.

Aggregate Industries occupied two concrete plants within just three miles of the project, enabling an easy and timely turnaround for deliveries.

Gavin Adkins, Aggregate Industries General Manager for the Midlands & North, said: “We were delighted to be involved in such a high-profile and significant project for the Birmingham and surrounding area.”
