High Early Strength Concrete is a range of products designed to meet specified return to service requirements in compressive strength. These concretes are produced and delivered using volumetric concrete mixers. Water is only added to the mix at the point of use. Available in a range of early strength gain to suit contract specification and various levels of consistency to suit placement method; pump, skip and direct. Strike+ has low surface absorption and high freeze thaw resistance
Lytacrete reduces the weight of structural concrete and can be pumped to any height and achieve a high quality finish. Using Lytag® coarse aggregates reduces the weight of structural concrete by around 23% compared with natural aggregate concrete. Including Lytag fine aggregate allows further weight reductions of up to 32%. Lytag lightweight aggregate concrete can provide the same level of structural performance as normal weight concrete so it can be used in exactly the same way, achieving a compressive strength of up to 65N. Placing and compaction is as easy as with normal weight concrete. Finishing processes used for normal concrete can easily be applied to Lytag concrete. Using Lytag not only reduces the density of your concrete but also improves the insulating properties with double the thermal performance of normal weight concrete. It meets all rating requirements.
A low strength ready-mixed concrete mix ideal for contracts/projects where strength is not a key factor. Ideal for a sub base in domestic patios. Leancrete will meet and exceed the relevant British and European Standards, it is economical and easy to use. Dry mix is available for kerb as a backing and bedding.
Adding water on the site causes a reduction in the strength of ready-mixed concrete and invalidates our Quality Assurance. Use Adflow instead of water to increase the flow of concrete without compromising its strength and quality. Adflow offers increased workability and makes it quick to lay. Drivecrete can be enhanced with polypropylene fibres to provide long lasting concrete with resistance to impact and abrasion wear. It will resist freeze/thaw damage in the winter and can be used with reinforcement. High workability is available (on request) and it offers an excellent final finish. Drivecrete is economical and easy to use and is a high quality pavement concrete. It also exceeds British and European Standards.
Agilia® is a self compacting concrete and will flow freely around congested reinforcement without the need for vibration or other energy input. It offers a potential cost saving through shorter construction time, reduced labour for placing, finishing and remedial costs Compressive strengths are from C20/25 to C50/60 and it is available in slump flow classes SF1 to SF3. Agilia has excellent flowability through congested reinforcing steels (Rebar),ensuring full bonding and it conforms to specified limits for minimum cement content and maximum water cement ratio. Less finishing is required, which is ideal for domestic flooring when laying carpet, tiles or wood. Agilia has high surface quality, consistency of finished appearance and allows enhanced design creativity including colour. Is offer environmental benefits which include no vibration and noise reduction during placement.
Hydromedia® is an ideal solution for surface and stormwater management. A fast draining concrete pavement solution that rapidly directs stormwater off streets, parking surfaces, driveways and walkways. It reduces costs as part of a SuDS (Sustainable Drainage System) and is available with integral colour to offer decorative and functional hard landscaping opportunities. Hydromedia minimises costs and long-term maintenance for local authorities and developers of stormwater management as well as minimising urban impact on natural water cycle A range of strengths are available and it is designed with a sub-base to contain typically 15 - 35% void. Water flows freely through Hydromedia at 150 litres/minute/m2 and 1000 litres/minute/m2.
WeatherMix® has been specially developed to support and extend the construction season into the winter months. WeatherMix is specifically designed to tolerate colder conditions than normal concrete. It is formulated to allow placement of concrete across a range of ambient temperatures from +3°C to zero. Weathermix extends the construction season further into the cold periods of the winter months by allowing the concrete to achieve sufficient strength to resist damage by freezing. It meets the performance requirements of BS EN 206, BS 8500 and BS EN 13670. High-early strengths are available and it does not reduce the durability characteristics of concrete that is subjected to a wide range of damaging agencies including freeze thaw.
Diamondcrete® provides you with a high performance ready-mixed concrete, securing fast track solutions to many of the more challenging aspects of construction. It can be utilised in all forms of construction in residential, transport infrastructure, office and administrative buildings as well as materials recycling, petrochemical, military engineering, hotels, schools and hospitals. Diamondcrete has a very low permeability providing enhanced resistance to chloride ion penetration and aggressive substances such as sulphates or acids. It has high early strength, 28 day characteristic in 24 hours along with high mix cohesion which enables pumping of low cement content.
Highpave is a range of fibre reinforced pavement grade ready-mixed concretes that reduce the errors associated with the use of conventional reinforcing methods. Where your critical path includes paving, Highpave is available in a high performance grade that will achieve the required compressive strength in as little as 24 hours offering considerable savings in programme. Highpave can be utilised in all forms of pavement and ground supported slab construction for residential, transport infrastructure, office and administrative buildings as well as materials recycling, petrochemical, military engineering, hotels, schools and hospitals and can be tailored to the particular challenges of your contract. We have yet to find a limit to the application of this technology.

Hydracrete® is a modified ready-mixed concrete designed for placement into still or moving water with minimal washout. It minimises the impact to the surrounding flora and fauna environments and has little or no effect to the water cement ratio. Hydracrete can be used in; ports, harbours, quays, dams, marine anduatic environments. The concrete is traditionally placed by pump or tremmie pipe direct to the point of discharge.
Cemflow® is a range of highly specialised self compacting ready-mixed concrete. Available in Cemflow foundation, horizontal and vertical it offers reduced labour requirements and lower site noise levels. flexible placing options and improved output in precast environments.
Insulating Concrete Formwork is a relatively new UK building technique which involves a series of hollow expanded polystyrene blocks into which ICF-Crete is poured. The system combines the inherent strength of concrete with the excellent thermal insulation properties of polystyrene to produce cost-effective and durable structures. It provides a sustainable walling element with Green Guide ratings of A+ and A dependent on the walling thickness and finishes. Acoustic performance easily exceeds the requirements of building regulations.
