Alumasc has once again chosen Londons Ecobuild exhibition to profile the environmental benefits of its market-leading sustainable construction products. This years three day show is being held at the Excel exhibition centre on the 1-3 March.
Alumasc will be delivering a live daily seminar at the Cityscape Urban Greening stage at 11.40am, offering Top Tips For The Successful Installation And Maintenance Of Green Roofs In New-Build Properties and on Wednesday 3rd March at 11:45am, in Cityscapes South Gallery Room 3, the Practical Applications for Natural Materials seminar will outline the environmental benefits of Cork Insulation.
Alumascs brand new exhibition stand, number S1420, incorporates three Zones, focusing on Energy Management, Green Roofing and Water Management.
The Energy Management Zone showcases Alumascs thermally efficient facade solutions, where visitors can learn about the carbon saving credentials of External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems and in particular, natural Cork insulation. Alumascs EWI systems are recommended by the Energy Savings Trust for their contribution to the improved overall thermal performance of existing inefficient, hard-to-treat homes. They are also ideally suited to new build applications. Advice is also available on the stand regarding CESP funding.
The 'Green Roofing Zone' features a range of alternative Blackdown green roof buildups and complementary products exclusive to Alumasc. Alumasc lead the way in the design and supply of green roof systems in the UK with an impressive project track record. Alumascs high performance waterproofing systems are also on show in this zone and include world class brands such as Firestone, Hydrotech and Derbigum.
The 'Water Management Zone' comprises Alumascs renowned architectural rainwater systems in fully recyclable aluminium and cast iron alongside the fully engineered, high-flow Harmer Roof, Floor and Shower drain ranges. The Harmer SML lightweight cast-iron soil and waste system also features.
Alumasc achieved ISO 14001 environmental certification in 2007 and will be sharing its experiences of manufacturing sustainable products for the modern construction process with Ecobuild visitors. A comprehensive range of Alumasc literature will be available to take away from the stand.
