Heated Driveway Systems designed 5 heated mats which were laid as tracks for the whole width of the drive at Beachcrest, Beaconsfield.
The exclusive development required a heated drive for its difficult to access underground parking.
The installation required an electrical load of 18.1Kw, spread across the 5 mats (300w/sqm).
Their fully automated system which operates using air temperature and moisture sensors comes on if there is a risk of ice or snow and switches off again when required, keeping the drive clear of ice in temperatures as low as -20 ̊C.
Project Type: drive down to underground residential parking.
Construction: fitted on base tarmac and covered with 50mm tarmac surface.
System: bespoke heated driveway mats, fitted as 2 x 1.2m wide heated track.
