The Hopton Holiday Village was recently refurbished, with works including the division of the entertainment area to gain a flexible, multi-use space.

The space now holds a sports bar on one side with the other side able to accommodate various activities such as exercise classes, kids’ activities, live shows etc.

Bolton Gate Company’s Sonaroll acoustic steel roller shutters divide the two spaces, providing reduced sound transmission when closed; whilst open the shutters allow the whole space to be used as a show bar.

The 100mm flat-faced laths allowed graphics to be applied maintaining a nautical theme. A number of the shutters reflect a boatyard scene, whilst other shutters had artwork applied to make the steel laths appear as distressed timber. The inclusion of a central faux timber post effectively divided each shutter, allowing two different scenes per shutter.
