Bramah is proud to continue supporting the renowned David Mellor manufacturing facility in the Derbyshire Peak District, where its NS27M mortice deadlocks have provided trusted security since the site was first established.
Purpose-built in the 1990s to manufacture David Mellor's internationally recognised cutlery collection, the facility remains at the heart of a distinctive complex celebrating British craftsmanship and design. Alongside the factory, the site includes two retail shops showcasing carefully curated design-led products, a museum dedicated to David Mellor's life and work, and a café serving locally sourced produce.
Bramah's NS27M mortice deadlocks were specified on the facility's security doors from the outset and continue to provide reliable protection across the site, including both retail stores.
Now led by Corin Mellor, the business continues to uphold the principles of quality and craftsmanship established by its founder. During a recent visit, Corin Mellor provided Bramah with a behind-the-scenes tour of the manufacturing facility, offering an insight into the production of the iconic cutlery range.
Bramah is delighted to continue its long-standing relationship with the David Mellor business, supporting one of the UK's most respected manufacturers with high-quality security solutions built to stand the test of time.
