CEMEX quoted a price for 12,000m2 of 80mm Readyroad for a site at Kesgrave, Suffolk. Due to the size of the works CEMEX enquired as to what timescales were involved. This site is in an old CEMEX quarry, which would be used by a local haulage company.

Once the programme was confirmed, the availability of the stock was checked at Lenwade. Due to the size of the order it was discussed internally between the manufacturing and commercial teams how quickly CEMEX could manufacture the balance.

Not long after CEMEX had started delivering the first few loads the client asked for the job to be completed sooner than the original date. This meant extra discussions with their internal logistics fleet to see if they could meet the new completion date. They were able to increase the amount of loads delivered per day to the site. The job was on schedule to be completed to the revised deadline.
