Clement Windows Group has manufactured new steel windows and doors with a Naked Steel finish for Kew Studios and Works in Richmond.

Kew Studios and Works is a former manor house which has been completely refurbished with an eye to incorporating the original period charm into the new modern design.
Sustainability was a key objective and solar panels, a living green roof and electric vehicle charging points have been included. The development has achieved a “B” EPC and a BREEAM Very Good certification.

For the exterior, Clement manufactured W40 steel frames. Instead of being painted, these have been left with a contemporary Clement Naked Steel galvanised finish. The internal doors and screens are manufactured from slim Jansen Janisol 2 and C4 profiles to ensure natural light flows throughout the space.

Clement’s W40 steel frames are ideal for properties where strong, durable, efficient opening casements and robust fittings are required. They are ideal for refurbishment projects where the pattern of the original fenestration is to be maintained.

The slender Jansen steel profile windows and doors manufactured by Clement meet the highest requirements of thermal insulation, security and fire protection.

Clement offers a choice of Naked Steel finishes: rusted, shot blasted, clear lacquered, galvanised or painted.
