Conisbrough Castle's £1.1M Revamp: 300m² Resin Bound Surfacing Installed

Over 300m² of RonaDeck Resin Bound Surfacing with Quartz Parallel aggregate was laid at Conisbrough Castle, Doncaster. This 12th-century castle was closed for six months to undergo major redevelopment work, which amounted to £1.1 million. The project was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, English Heritage, and Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council. It included the construction of a new visitor centre, the expansion of education and exhibition rooms, installation of interactive displays, and improvements in access, signage, and parking facilities. These enhancements aimed to provide a more engaging and accessible experience for visitors, ensuring the preservation and appreciation of this historical site for future generations.
