Althon surface water drainage channel products accommodate for all types of applications from pedestrian areas to extreme loadings such as airports or shipyards. Althon’s drainage channel ranges have been development to be easy to transport and quick to install and maintain.
Heavy Duty Concrete Drainage Channel
Althon BGZ-S Concrete Drainage Channel range is a concrete drainage channel system available in widths from 100mm up to 500mm. Our concrete drainage channel has exceptional load bearing capabilities. Althon BGZ-S concrete drainage channel has been developed for areas where massive acceleration or braking forces and torque could occur. Our concrete channel drain system is available with gratings up to load class F900. Mesh, slotted and solid gratings and covers are available.
The Althon BGZ-S Concrete Drainage Channel is ideally suited for hardstanding areas subject to extreme loadings such as airports, container terminals, ports and industrial yards. Our concrete drainage channels are a much harder wearing and durable alternative to polymer concrete drainage channels.
Concrete Slot Drain
Althon concrete slot drainage channels are suitable for use on large scale industrial developments, airports, ports and container terminals as well as motorways.
Our 4 metre long standard channel sections allow for fast installation once on site and fewer joints between sections than on standard concrete slot channels. Our Profile M slot drainage channel is manufactured in 1 metre sections and is suitable for load class applications up to D400.
High Capacity Drainage Channel
The Althon High Capacity Channel Drainage System is a glass reinforced concrete (GRC) channel drainage system available in a range of widths from 150mm to 600mm. We offer a selection of lid units for use in residential, car park through to heavy industrial drainage applications.
The high capacity of the drainage channels enables the installation of long uninterrupted runs without the need for intermediate outfalls. Althon High Capacity Channel Drainage offers considerable reductions in the amount of secondary pipework required. This extra capacity is useful for water storage, the largest drainage channel having a capacity of 412 litres per metre.
The unique trapezoidal shape of the high capacity drainage channel means that water in the channel generates its own flow. Our drainage channel is therefore self-cleansing and can be laid over long lengths without fall.
