The Safety Letterbox Company’s R&D department are continually developing products to keep ahead of the market demands. It’s fire-rated mailboxes are providing solutions to architects and developers who are looking to house mailboxes in a fire-rated area e.g. along a fire-escape route or within a rated wall.

The mailboxes are available for on-, in- or through-wall use and are proving to be a very popular addition to the range of over 120 models currently designed, manufactured and supplied by the company.

The mailboxes are suitable for A4 mail, are manufactured from Zintec steel and are polyester powder-coated to a choice of RAL colours from the Safety Letterbox architectural range.

The fire-rated range are rated for 1 hour (integrity only), are fitted with disc-tumbler locks as standard, with two keys per lock, and come complete with name display case and numbering options. As with all Safety Letterbox products, the mailboxes arrive at site fully-assembled and banked for ease of installation.

The Safety Letterbox Company has over 24 years experience and is ISO 9001:2008 and Investor in People accredited. All products are manufactured entirely within the UK. Short lead times, a low budget range and bespoke service available.
