Aliva UK has welcomed a fourth new senior hire to its business this summer, with the recruitment of Steve Darlington as Technical Manager for Facade Systems.
Steve will be responsible for UK design, tender services and on-site support.
With a background in construction services and 33 years’ industry experience, Steve has worked as a professional within the facades, cladding and roofing sector in a range of technical, commercial and management roles.
He joins Aliva following a number of new business wins that have further solidified the facade specialist’s market leading position.
Steve’s appointment follows on from three senior hires earlier in the summer, which bring additional exemplary EWI and rainscreen cladding expertise to Aliva UK.
• Tarvinder Katavada joined Aliva as National Business Development Manager for EWI, to further grow its proposition for the refurbishment and new build markets.
• Tony Masters joined as Specification Manager for the North and Scotland with a remit for specification and project management of EWI and rainscreen cladding systems.
• Rich Dowie joined as National Development Manager for Training and Compliance. Rich has 20 years’ sector experience in both the EWI and rainscreen markets.
In addition to the new senior hires this summer, Aliva’s Ben Edmondson was promoted to Technical Director of EWI Systems, a national role which recognises his unrivalled EWI sector experience and contribution to the business’ growth in this market, both commercial and refurbishment, over the last 11 years.
James Ormerod, Managing Director of Aliva UK, said: “Welcome to Steve who joins our industry leading team with a core focus on the facade systems side of our business.
“These four senior hires and a promotion signify the continued growth of our rainscreen cladding and our commercial and refurbishment External Wall Insulation markets, key recruitment as we get ready to celebrate our silver business anniversary with 25 years of UK operations in 2025.”
