Free support for fabricators to help boost profits

Hardware specialist SIEGENIA-AUBI LTD has announced a series of free workshops to help fabricators make the most of the profitable folding sliding doors market.

The half-day workshops will be held at SIEGENIA-AUBI’s offices in Coventry and will cover everything that fabricators considering folding sliding door production need to think about, along with practical tips and guidance on manufacture from SIEGENIA-AUBI’s technical experts.

The workshops will provide information on material combinations, wheels and adjustments, different methods of operation and the range of ancillary products available to ensure doors fold at 90-degrees, as well as highlighting some of the pitfalls of selecting the wrong hinges.

Everyone who attends a workshop will be given a full set of free jigs, and fabricators will also have the chance to get ‘hands on’ with the product by dismantling a folding sliding door and rebuilding it under the supervision of SIEGENIA-AUBI Technical Manager, Chris Wood, who will be running the workshops. He says:

“In these tough economic times, everyone is looking for ways to make their business more profitable.

“The folding sliding doors market is still growing – our FS Portal folding sliding hardware was our best selling product in 2008 and demand remains high.

“This sector provides significant opportunities for fabricators, and we’ve developed this hands-on workshop to show how they can make the most of these opportunities.”

To register interest in attending a workshop, contact Chris Wood at SIEGENIA-AUBI on 0247 662 2000.
