Composition and manufacture
IMOCO Alucovering profiles are extruded from aluminium alloy of approximately 2mm thickness, 200 to 300mm in height, up to 6m in length and powder coated to a minimum of 80 microns. A choice of RAL colours guaranteed under Qualicoat standards are available. The panels are manufactured in a variety of forms and weigh approximately 8.5kg/m². The aluminium alloy (EN AW 6060 T6) has inherent characteristics which ensure optimal resistance to corrosion, longevity and purity.
IMOCO Klinkercoverings are produced from clay processed with water, extruded with a drawplate, dried, and then slow-fired at 1250ºC until completely vitrified. This makes it one of the most durable materials produced. The products are available in a variety of sizes and colours ensuring adaptability to all cladding projects. The system is designed for maximum speed of installation, thus lowering costs and ensuring on-site programmes can be accelerated.
Aliva Glass, Tardis, is a mechanical hidden fix system comprising specialist undercut anchors. The glass is tempered and consists of two layers, an internal layer approximately 8mm and external layer 6mm. The external layer can be coloured or opaque to suit the project. Panels are produced in larger sizes up to 2000 x 1700mm.
