Green Wall Screening Solutions
Lang + Fulton
Lang+Fulton’s gratings can be used as a trellis for plants to create a ‘green wall’ screening solution. This is welcomed by Planning Departments as an effective method of reducing the impact of building development and improving the environment and air quality.
The grating panels can be designed to suit alternative requirements:
• for surface-mounting with brackets fixed direct onto a facade
• custom-sized to be bolted within a structural steel framework
• supplied with posts to create a free-standing plant trellis of any height.
Grating can be chosen from a comprehensive range that offers a choice of aperture sizes. Smaller aperture gratings are recommended for base panels to avoid any initial risk of the structure being climbable prior to planting becoming established. More open, light-weight gratings can be used for the taller screens at greater elevations.
Panels can be made up to a maximum size of 2910x1890mm.
It is important that this type of structure should have a long life-cycle. Hot-dip galvanizing with an additional polyester powder protection ensures maximum durability.
