Heated Driveway Systems installed a heated driveway system at a luxury housing development in Kingswood, Ascot, ensuring safe winter access for residents.


The project required an energy-efficient solution to prevent snow and ice build-up on the driveway without the use of salt or grit.

The installation included eight bespoke heating mats (300W/sqm), with a total electrical load of 34kW, laid directly onto the base tarmac. The surface tarmac was applied immediately after, with the full installation completed in just one day.

The system is fully automated, operating via advanced ice and snow melting controls, using both air temperature and ground moisture sensors for responsive, hands-free operation.
