Heated Driveway Systems have provided their ice and snow melting system at the Wessex Hotel in Dorset.

The developer was looking for 4 tracks on this ramp to have 2 ice and snow free lanes for the traffic to and from this large parking area.

HDS supplied and installed 8 x 4455W heated driveway cables to heat 4 x tracks on this 30m long ramp down to an underground parking area. The cables were fitted to the concrete reinforcement bars before being covered with concrete.

The system is controlled by a HDS fully automatic ice and snow melting control, using 2 ground moisture sensors and one air temperature sensor.
