HIMACS Sheets
HIMACS
HIMACS Sheets form the foundation of the HIMACS Solid Surface offering, providing a versatile and high performance solution for a wide range of architectural and interior applications.
Supplied in standardised sheet formats, the material is designed to support efficient fabrication while offering maximum creative freedom for designers, architects and fabricators.
Composed of minerals, acrylic and natural pigments, HIMACS Sheets deliver a smooth, non porous and visually seamless surface that meets the highest standards of durability, hygiene
and aesthetic quality. Thanks to its thermoformability, the material can be heated and shaped into virtually any form, enabling fluid, three dimensional designs that go beyond the
constraints of traditional surfacing materials.
HIMACS is typically supplied in standard sheets with a thickness of 12 mm, which represents the most widely used format across applications. In selected colours, additional
thickness options are also available, including 20 mm, 9 mm, 6 mm and 4.5 mm, allowing greater flexibility depending on the technical and design requirements of each project. For
full specifications, please consult the HIMACS catalogue or contact the team for further guidance.
Available in a broad palette of colours, patterns and finishes, HIMACS Sheets can be used to create kitchen worktops, bathroom surfaces, wall cladding, façades, furniture and bespoke
design elements. Joints can be made virtually invisible, allowing for continuous surfaces that enhance both visual coherence and long term performance.
While offering a robustness comparable to natural stone, HIMACS can be fabricated with the precision and flexibility of wood. It can be cut, routed, drilled and sanded, making it highly
adaptable to both complex geometries and detailed custom work. This makes HIMACS Sheets particularly suitable for projects that demand both technical performance and refined
design execution.
Produced using advanced thermal curing technology, HIMACS features a dense and homogeneous structure, ensuring enhanced strength, durability and resistance to daily wear.
The HIMACS Ultra range further expands design possibilities by combining advanced thermoforming capabilities with improved colour performance, enabling tight internal radii
and deep, consistent tones.
In addition to performance, HIMACS Sheets support responsible material specification. Their durability, repairability and seamless fabrication contribute to extended product lifecycles and
reduced waste. The material is nonporous, easy to clean and maintain, and free from VOC emissions, silica, formaldehyde and nanoparticles, supporting safe and healthy indoor
environments.
Whether used in residential, commercial or public space projects, HIMACS Sheets provide a reliable and design driven surface solution that adapts to the evolving needs of contemporary architecture.
