HIMACS is available in a growing selection of HIMACS colours and products that incorporate SCS certified pre consumer recycled content, supporting more responsible material specification in architecture and design projects.
This category focuses on HIMACS Sheets that include certified recycled content without compromising the materials core performance, durability or aesthetic quality. Colours such
as the iconic Alpine White, along with an expanding range of designs across multiple collections, now integrate certified recycled material, contributing to more efficient resource
use within the production process.
The inclusion of pre consumer recycled content reflects a measured and transparent approach to sustainability. Rather than altering the fundamental composition or performance
of the material, HIMACS maintains its established technical characteristics while improving resource efficiency. Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) are available, and the
material contributes to major green building certification schemes including LEED, BREEAM and DGNB.
Beyond recycled content, HIMACS supports long term sustainability through durability, repairability and adaptability. Surfaces can be restored rather than replaced, extending
product lifecycles and reducing material waste. Off cuts generated during fabrication can also be reused, further improving material efficiency on site and in the workshop.
HIMACS is not porous and easy to maintain, requiring no additional surface treatments or sealants over time. It does not emit VOCs and is free from substances such as silica,
formaldehyde and nanoparticles. Certified for indoor air quality, including GREENGUARD Gold and the highest level of IAC certification, it supports safe and healthy
interior environments.
Manufactured under ISO 14001 environmental management standards, HIMACS benefits from continuous monitoring and improvement of its environmental performance, including
